Audio Clip #1 context:
"In practicing the 24-note run in
the last line, I have students practice only the first seven
notes (where the notes pass from left to right hand) with a goal
of sounding seamless, fluid, and even. Then the next two notes
are added (where the LH has crossed over). All of this is done
first without pedal, and then later with pedal after evenness
of tone has been achieved.
Students continue adding groups of notes
until they have mastered the entire passage."

Audio Clip #2 context:
"Here are two performances of the
first half of 'Moonlight Mood.' The first clip has no rubato
(and a metronome ticking to keep me from cheating). "
